Environment Protection Fund provides 32 billion kip for preservation projects
The Environment Protection Fund has granted more than 32 billion kip (US$3.8 million) through the Second Lao Environmental and Social Project (LENS2) to help preserve natural environments in Laos.
The grant was provided to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to implement the projects.
The projects aim to reduce harmful environmental impacts and put into practice the government’s policy to preserve and protect natural resources and the environment.
